The primary focus of the site is to sell hard to obtain Shia books in Urdu language, specially for Muslims that need Islamic books and live in cities where there is no local Islamic book store. Jantari or Jantri is the most common household Shia Islamic book and the site was named after this.

Besides Jantri, our site also offers the 10 most common Islamic books in Urdu. We purchase these books from Pakistan and have them shipped to USA. We have kept little or no profit and our prices Insha Allah should be lowered than any other online book store. Books on this Jantri site are shipped locally from USA and all payments are made within US. So for buyers there should be some peace of mind since they are not dealing with any International company.

All shipping and handing are free and Shia Islamic books on Jantri.net includes no extra hidden charges. It was hard for us to believe when we started but the fact is freight charges (shipping books from Pakistan to USA) is very expensive, at an average 120% - 200% of the original retail price. Of course we have to use courier services for shipment and unfortunately the cost of the freight are added to the book price in US $. However we have tried to keep the price as low as possible.
